We are proud to be part of the YES programme which is a career-linked learning resource that gives primary learners a bespoke, engaging and motivating window into the world of work.
If you find your child coming home talking about drumming and fractions or algebra and computer games...don't be dismayed. Our school is continually looking at how we can help our children make the connection to the subjects we teach them in the classroom and the wider world. We're delighted to let you know that the school has recently brought in the YES Programme; a collection of 90 films across English, Maths and Science, for years 3-6.
We think the children will benefit enormously from the teachers having this additional learning resource to use in their lessons helping re-inforce that the skills we are teaching them in the classroom are relevant and important outside of school. YES also gives the children an early insight into the world of work that we know they find engaging and motivating.
