School to School Support

As a National Support School we would welcome an opportunity to work with you in a way that will underpin your improvement journey. School leaders visit St Matthew’s often to observe teaching and learning and to discuss how we have ensured continual improvement for all children. Visits will be tailored to meet the needs of individual schools, but as part of services to other schools we can:

• work alongside you and your staff to promote improvement, through coaching and mentoring
• support action planning to improve leadership and management , outcomes, quality of teaching and assessment, pupil behaviour and welfare or any aspect of school life
• undertake pupil premium reviews
• offer advice on performance monitoring and review of staff, including the headteacher.
